The Wait Just Got Longer: GTA 6 Officially Delayed to November 2026

Hi everyone, Well, we've got the news we were all hoping wouldn't come, but it's here. Rockstar just put out an official statement, and I wanted to share it with you all right away: Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026. I know, that stings. An extra few months on top of what already feels like a lifetime of waiting is a tough pill to swallow. In their announcement, Rockstar apologized for adding to the wait. Their official reason is that "these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve." Honestly, as much as I'm disappointed, I think this is the right move. The last thing any of us wants is a rushed game. After all this hype, GTA 6 needs to be as close to perfect as possible, and we all know that "Rockstar polish" is what makes their worlds so special. They thanked the community (that's us!) for our patience and support. Even with the delay, I'm still incredibly excited to finally get our hands on it and explore the sprawling state of Leonida and that return to a modern-day Vice City. So, mark your calendars (again), folks. It’s going to be a little longer, but hopefully, it will be worth every single second. What do you all think?
